The Concept
A chrome Chriesibaum in the heart of the city.
The Chriesibaum — the cherry tree — is Basel's quiet emblem of spring, abundance and gathering. We cast it in liquid chrome and set it loose on Jungle Street: a single, mirror-bright sculpture reflecting the crowd, the sky and the lights back at itself. Around it, sound. One tree, one street, one long day of techno.
